WhatsApp communication consent
How WhatsApp is used for requested service messages and optional promotions.
Effective and last updated: 9 September 2026 · Version 2026-09-09Service messages
When you enter a WhatsApp number and request an OTP, create a booking or ask for support, you request necessary messages such as verification codes, booking confirmation, cancellation, payment status, venue changes, feedback reminders and support replies. These are service communications, not a subscription to marketing.
Optional promotional messages
Promotions, offers and recommendations are sent only when you separately opt in. Promotional consent is voluntary and is not a condition of account creation or booking. Consent records may include the number, time, source, purpose and policy version.
Withdraw or change consent
Reply STOP to a promotional message or contact support to withdraw promotional consent. Reply START or use a future preference control to opt in again. Withdrawal may take a short period to propagate. Essential responses you actively request, security notices and legally required communications may still be sent.
Delivery and privacy
Messages are delivered through Meta’s WhatsApp platform and approved templates where required. Carrier/data charges and Meta’s terms may apply. Do not send passwords, OTPs, complete bank credentials or sensitive medical information through WhatsApp.
